Thirteen community members collected 20 bags of litter during the November 8 cleanup
On Saturday, November 8, thirteen volunteers took part in the Sterling Boulevard Quarterly Cleanup. The group consisted of nine adults and four high school students. Together, they collected 20 bags of litter from the boulevard.
The cleanup covered five sections of the road, with each team working for about three hours. Volunteers contributed their time and effort to maintain a clean and safe community.

Special thanks go to Amazon volunteers, Loudoun Serenity House, and Iron Box Power Distribution. Sarah from Iron Box traveled from North Carolina to participate. Their commitment serves as an example for everyone.
Kevin D. Chroninger, the Sterling Park Area Leader for Keep Loudoun Beautiful, coordinated the initiative. A total of 39 volunteer work-hours were logged through the Adopt-a-Highway program. VDOT’s contractor will remove all bagged and large debris between Route 7 and Pacific Boulevard.
If you see volunteers in orange vests along Sterling Boulevard, please slow down and give them space. They are working to make Sterling cleaner and brighter for all.
