Sterling Volunteer Expo Brings Community and Local Groups Together

Sterling Public Library hosted its Volunteer Expo on September 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Local organizations met with residents to share volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved in the community. The Sterling Foundation joined the event with a table staffed by Lisa and Brad. They spoke with visitors about upcoming volunteer programs and projects.

The Sterling Foundation works to strengthen the Sterling community through environmental, educational, cultural, and recreational programs that improve quality of life. Attendees visited from Sterling and nearby towns, including Ashburn, Leesburg, Purcellville, and Herndon.
