About the event
Loudoun County – Crooked Run Fermentation and Blue Ridge Pickling will be hosting Loudoun County’s first Pickle and International Food Festival on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, at Crooked Run’s Sterling brewery location. The two-day event will bring together over 40 vendors, including more than a dozen of the Mid-Atlantic’s top pickle makers and fermented food producers, alongside a wide variety of international food vendors, some of the region’s best food trucks, and local artisans. With a strong emphasis on guest experience, every element of the festival has been thoughtfully curated to create an engaging, high-energy, and memorable event for attendees of all ages.
The festival will feature gourmet international cuisines, craft beer, wine, pickle-inspired cocktails, and live music from Pickleback and School of Rock. Guests can enjoy family-friendly attractions including a kids section with a pickle cutout photo station and a pickle costume character, as well as a fun interactive pickle fountain. A radio personality emcee will keep the energy high with crowd engagement and a curated music playlist. Crooked Run will also present the return of its fan-favorite Pickle-O, alongside a limited spicy version, both available on draft and in cans to-go.
J&J Pizza, Crooked Run’s sister restaurant, will debut a limited-edition pickle pizza created specifically for the festival as a special collaboration menu item. “This festival will be a huge event that anyone into pickles, creative food and beverages will find well worth attending.” -- Jake Endres, co-owner of Crooked Run.
