Sterling Lecture Series 1 of 3

Sterling Library, December 13, 2017  6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

The Sterling Historical, Heritage and Preservation Committee (SHHPC) Presents the first of a 3-part lecture series taking place on Wednesday, December 13th, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM at the Sterling Library, located at the Safeway Plaza off Sterling Blvd. Come out and listen to a casual couch style conversation with several of Sterling’s original residents. Before there was Sterling Park this was a farming community with an airport sitting in the middle of cow fields. Hear all about life in Old Sterling before the suburban development of eastern Loudoun County and what folks did to live, work and entertain themselves. It certainly has changed! The moderator of the conversation is local journalist Mark Gunderman who will ask questions of the participants as well as take questions from the audience.
